If you like simplicity and not a whole lot of space station knobs and switches! then buy this amp. it has great fender clean type on clean channel and an awesome overdrive/distortion,almost borderline metal especialy using 12AX7LPS on all the pre-amp tubes. the overdrive on the second channel is something the fender hot rod series wish it had,and this is without using any pedals. I gig every weekend,when I got this from UPS on a friday afternoon I unpacked it,check to make sure there's no shipping damage,turn it on for 15 minutes to check for any electronic problems and there's none,then gig that night without any problems and no pedals. awesome tone and just worked on my volume knob on the guitar for those cool solos! thats true tone.. Great versatile amp and gig ready
