Working in his fathers music store and meeting such musicians as Elvis Presley, Bo Diddley, Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, Carl Perkins, and Jerry Lee Lewis grabbed the attention of young Hartley where his love for music grew. Hartley quickly found out that he was better at making musical equipment than playing them, so Peavey Electronics was born. 40 years later we are excited to carry one of the most sought after, reliable brands in the industry.
